We received an order to modify and modernize the currently operated SCHMITT ENERTEC generating sets in 2019 from Serbian Oil & Gas Company.
Our client had serious problems during the warranty period with the reliability of the installed SCHMITT ENERTEC 500 kW gas engines. The technical team responsible for the operation decided to shut down one of the generating sets after the warranty expired.
Gas Power delivered the new MAN E3262LE202 gas engine and, together with its strategic partners in Serbia, replaced the SCHMITT ENERTEC engine with a MAN engine. For this purpose, our partner, the Serbian company TiCompression, made a number of necessary technical changes to the foundation frame, exhaust system, clutch and other mechanical elements.
The Schneider PLC control system used so far by SCHMITT ENERTEC has been replaced with a new control system with MOTORTECH All-In-One components, designed and installed by the Serbian company IvDam cooperating with us.
The MAN E3262LE202 gas engine supplied and installed by Gas Power together with the control systems works very well after more than 4,000 hours of operation on natural gas with a very low methane number.
